Members of the Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association, are Freemasons in lodges from across the Province, including three lady freemasons. We not only share an enjoyment of social motorcycling but also fundraising.
They recently held an outdoor, evening event with proceeds providing them with the opportunity to make a donation of £325 to Cornwall Hospice Care.
As well as the cheque, the nursing staff were pleased to receive a range of Cornish biscuits for the staff room.
‘Magpie’, President of the Widows Sons MRA England Kernow Grand Chapter said, “Several of our members have had family members benefit from the end of life quality care provision and facilities at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice, and we are delighted to be able to give a little in return.”
