Riding into 2026
We are looking forward to an active year ahead for Widows Sons Grand Chapter, both here in Cornwall and for our sister Chapters in Devon, Scotland, Wales and Hampshire & the Isle of Wight.

The Egg Run
On Easter Sunday, 5th April, we will hold our annual Egg Run.
Meet us at Davidstow Airfield, 10am, to join us, hundreds of bikes and a large crowd of people for the start of a full marshalled ride, leaving around 11am. The route is around 70 miles, with a midway stop for fuel. The Park, Bowden Derra in Polyphant is kindly hosting the end event with raffle, stalls and hog roast.
Hanger Management will be on the airfield with warm brews and tasty treats.
Please arrive with a full tank and your £5 ready for us to collect.

Now in its 29th year, the Egg Run is a firm favourite to start the motorcycling events calendar for the year. It raises thousands of pounds for children’s charities in Cornwall, and last year we reached an all time high, tipping over the £7,000 mark. Truly remarkable, and we are grateful for all the support from participants, local businesses and masonic lodges.
This will enable us to continue our donations to Children’s Hospice South West and the ARB Education Support Units in five local primary schools throughout Cornwall, from Launceston to Penzance.

Our grateful thanks go to the many businesses and organisations that are supporting this year’s Egg Run, from Eagle Plant providing portable toilets to all those who have donated amazing raffle prizes.
