In September 2015 Widows Sons masonic bikers held the first Rob’s Run in Plymouth, Devon. This annual event was named in honour of our late Vice President, and Founder Member, Rob Walls.
Rob was instrumental in forming the Widows Sons link with Ambers Angels Trust, a Plymouth based organisation supporting victims of child abuse, Rob’s Run initially raised funds for them.
Starting at Morrisons, Plymstock, the first Rob’s Run was held with Rob in attendance, and we continued to hold it in his memory, continuing his legacy of charity work.
Our last Rob’s Run was held on Sunday 1st September 2019, raising money for St Luke’s Hospice. It followed the well loved loop from Plymstock up to Dartmouth and back through South Hams. The end event was kindly hosted by BMC Motorcycles, Plymouth.
